2011 Children’s Summer Activities

The following are our events in August!

SVBC Theatres: A Movie Afternoon

Thursday, August 11 from 1–3:30 pm
(All Kids Gr. K-6)

• SVBC Theatres presents: A Movie Afternoon for kids of all ages!
  Popcorn and treats provided.
  Come on out for a wonderful time at the cinemas!

Pyjama Party

Tuesday August 16 from 5–9 pm
(Girls Gr. 4–6)

• Pizza, a movie, and top-secret girl stuff will make this night
  the best of the summer! Wear your PJs, bring a pillow, blanket,
  or your favourite stuffed animal, and invite your friends.
  Hope to see you there!

Pirate Treasure Hunt

Thursday August 18 from 2–4 pm
(Boys Gr. 1–3)

• Where in the world is the missing treasure?
  I need your help to find it!
  Calling all pirates to use their awesome skills
  to search high and low and find the missing treasure!

Bike Day

Wednesday, August 24 from 10 am -2 pm
(Gr. 4–6 Boys and Girls)

• Come on out for a day of cruisin’ on your bike through Woodlands and Red Willow Park!
  We’ll be exploring the parks and playing on the playgrounds for the day;
  this event is always a hit and you won’t want to miss it!
• Remember to bring: bike, helmet, shoes, suncreen, bagged lunch, and a water bottle.
  Let’s end the summer with a crazy fun time!
