Chain of Love
The purpose of the CHAIN of LOVE homes is to provide loving, secure, caring homes for abandoned and abused street children in Brazil. They are helping meet the physical, spiritual and social needs of abandoned street children by raising them as part of the Chain of Love family until mature enough to function independently.
Chain of Love began in 1993 when a community of people in the city of Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, including NAB missionaries Ken & Jerilyn Bayer, was awakened to the plight of street children. A rapidly growing number of children had been hopelessly abandoned to fend for themselves on dangerous city streets. Says founder and director Ken Bayer, ”Everywhere we turned, they were there…very obvious and sometimes stumbled over…yet purposefully avoided and ignored.”
Ken and Jerilyn Bayer are the NAB sponsored missionaries at Chain of Love. Visit the NAB website for more information and their latest newsletter.
Jeremias is our sponsored child in House 3. Please visit the Chain of Love website for further information about him and see how you can be involved.
