White Cross
White Cross is the program that supports God’s work by providing much needed medical and surgical items for the North American Baptist Hospitals in Nigeria and Cameroon. Primarily the Gembu Baptist Hospital in Nigeria, Banso Baptist Hospital, Mbingo Baptist Hospital and Mutengene Baptist Hospital in Cameroon. We Give our time to:
Rolling Bandages made from old bed sheets
Cutting 4” X 4” squares from scrap material used as sponges and lining surgical trays
Making baby layettes which contain:
1 – Flannette diaper
1 – Flannette jacket
1 – Flannette blanket
Often this is the only clothing they have.
Items such as draw sheets, hospital gowns, and quilted sitting pads are also made and sent whenever possible.
