Who we are

Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church (SVBC) is a church that is evangelical in theology, contemporary in form & practice, and compassionate at heart by looking to meet the needs of its adherents, members, and the surrounding community.

Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church is affiliated with the Alberta Baptist Association, which is part of the North American Baptist Conference.

What to expect

Are you planning a visit with us? Or considering SVBC to become your “home church”? You are welcome to join us for a Sunday service, just as you are.

A typical gathering at our church would be characterized by a God centered worship service made up of a blended mix of hymns and contemporary worship songs, accompanied by a challenging and encouraging message based on the Word of God.
