Join the Team!
We are looking for volunteers to help make our Father’s Day Weekend Collector Vehicle Show & Shine a great community event in support of the Food Bank. Whether you have already signed up or are interested in helping, we’d love for you to join us at our volunteer meeting!
When: Wednesday, May 28 • 7:00 PM
Where: Resource Room
There are many ways to serve, including:
- making and laminating posters for roadside sandwhich boards
- Decorating building and parking lot with flags, streamers, etc.
- Table duty, Vehicle registration, meal ticket sales, collecting money and donations for food bank.
- purchasing supplies for and/or running the BBQ
- Guiding vehicles into parking spaces
- 50s/60s music DJ
- tent, tables, and chairs, setup/teardown
- delivering donations to foodbank
- Keeping Washrooms clean and stocked during event
- Or for anything we haven’t thought of yet
Every helping hand makes a difference, and together we can create a fun and welcoming event that blesses our community and supports the Food Bank.
