Nehemiah 13

In the Old Testament, this is the end of the story of God’s people until the coming of Christ. When we look back to the first chapter of Nehemiah, we see him weeping as he hears about the condition of Jerusalem, and the wall, and the Israelites there. So he ends up getting some time off to go help rebuild. And from where Tom finished preaching in chapter 9 last week, in chapters, 10, 11 and 12 it walks through all the different ways that Nehemiah helped set up the temple and city to thrive once he leaves. God’s people can once again follow the law and be set apart.
