Join us for an online 'Sunday School Class' on Church History: Heroes & Heretics of the Faith
When: Sundays @ 6 pm (beginning September 13th - ok to join anytime!)
Class length: maximum 1 hour/week
The history of the church did not begin when Pastor Tom was born. We have a long and rich path of heroes and heretics of the faith. The adversary of our souls would like for us to forget about what has happened in the past so that he could use the same tricks in order to deceive us. This class will examine the history of the church starting in the book of Acts and proceed to our modern day. Along the way we will look at the councils, the creeds, the fights and the victories that have provided the Christian faith we are able to claim today. This class will appeal to those who want to know more about their faith forefathers as well as those who enjoy some good stories of the past.
This class will be a mixture of didactic teaching and open discussion though a virtual connection online.
