It’s springtime!! Yay! I don’t know about you, but I love springtime! After a long winter, I will soon get to go into my backyard, do some planting, take out my gurgling waterfall and enjoy my deck. I love sitting on my deck especially after the flowers begin to bloom, and I can see the wonder of God’s creation. I get to play in the dirt, plant some carrots, plant some flowers, and maybe get a few new perennials to try out. I get to watch the birds in my cedars, or when they take a sip from waterfall, the squirrel running across the fence, hoping that those birds don’t get that squirrel… But before we can enjoy any of that, what do we need to do? We need to restore things to the way they were! There are dusty decks to clean, maybe a lawn to restore, especially if you’ve got a dog who leaves their “treasures” behind for us to pick up after in the spring! There are lawns to rake, furniture to take out of the shed, hoses to connect, and so much more before we get to the good stuff! We need to restore a lot of things! So, for periods of time, we are in the restoration business. Restoration is good, but it does take some effort.
