Dear SVBC Family:

Last Sunday, we enjoyed our first gathering together in 4 months. 76 attended and we were able to have a worship service, message and Lord's Supper just before it rained. Thanks to those of you who joined us in person and online. We learned a lot last Sunday and believe it's important for us to keep meeting in preparation for full relaunch on Sept 6.

Therefore, we are going to start a regular in person worship service this Sunday, July 19 1045 AM for those of you ready to try this out.

We are strongly recommending that everyone wear a mask out of consideration for others. This can help increase the level of comfort for those hesitant to return. We will maintain physical distancing for seating throughout the sanctuary and balcony. The main floor washrooms will be open for use. We won't have kid's ministry yet nor can we fellowship in the foyer. But there is the outside where you can connect (at a safe distance) after the service.

Please watch this video which will walk you through what we've prepared and what's involved in joining us in person. If you're not yet ready, please continue to connect with us online.

For those wanting to attend in person, we will need you to pre-register by CLICKING HERE or by calling the church office 780-458-3777. Registration will close at 9:30AM Sunday, July 19th. Doors will open at 10:15AM.

We will continue to learn as we go. Please join us in person or online.

Sincerely, PT

Screening Questions

Hi everyone:
We are looking forward to our first in building, in person worship service this Sunday. I wanted to publish our screening questions in advance. We have adapted the questions to be in line with the Alberta Health Self Screening Assessment. So here are the screening questions for Sunday.
  1. Do you or anyone in your household attending today have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness of breath?
  2. In the past 14 days, have you or anyone in your household returned from travel outside of Canada?
  3. In the past 14 days, have you or anyone in your household been in close unprotected contact with someone confirmed as currently having COVID-19?
Thank you for your patience with us as we try to be as clear as possible. PT
