Good morning, Church. As I mentioned, I'm excited about Grad Sunday - for the chance to celebrate with our students and to honor the great accomplishment that has brought them to this day, whether they're graduating grade nine or grade 12 or a post-secondary degree. It is an amazing time where we get to come alongside and celebrate together. We also get to look forward to what's next and what's ahead for you.
As I was thinking about what to speak on this morning, I went through a lot of different ideas because the Bible has tons to say. I know some of our graduates might move on and leave, and I might not see them again. So if this was the last opportunity I had to speak to them, what would be the single most important thing to understand from Scripture? And I went through a lot of different ideas, but there was one thing that kept coming back as the single most important thing to understand as you move forward in a time of change.
