John Eldredge is a best-selling Christian author and counselor. He’s the president of Wild at Heart ministries. His latest book is titled “Resilience.” He was recently interviewed for his perspective on our recovery from the pandemic. He’s seen many for counselling. He’s hearing of the emotional of energy depletion. He notes how we had to go through high stress situations with no finish line in sight. We had to adjust to a new normal several times. We had many of the things we enjoy taken away. This took a toll on our souls, he says. So, we need renewal and replenishment.
