Peter's Groundhog Day

Good Morning church ..This last while the old Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day has been running through my head. It is a movie about a Weather Man who is on location at Punxsutawney Pennsylvania for the annual Grounhog day celebration. But every morning as the alarm rings he begins to relive the exact same day over and over again. I am not sure about you but during Covid it almost felt like we were in that movie didn’t it. Every day I was on my computer by 8:00 - working on my sermon talking to people by phone or making Zoom calls. And then the next day we would do it all over again. It was as if the record was stuck on "repeat... do it again .. repeat."
