Romans 5:1-2 and other texts

The holiday season can sometimes make us feel like we are falling short. With all the high expectations, it’s easy to feel like we are not enough—no matter how hard we try. Have you ever found yourself thinking, “I’m not good enough,” or “If people really knew me, they would walk away”? The truth is, many of us walk around carrying this quiet sense of unworthiness, even when everything seems okay on the outside. But the Christmas story tells us something radically different: your worth is not based on your performance or your ability to “close the gap” between who you are and who you think you should be. It's found in what God has already declared about you. Jesus came into this world not to make us “better” but to meet us right in our brokenness, offering us grace, forgiveness, and peace.
